You will need proof of address and identity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"BodyA\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">To open your file, you will usually be seen the first time by a nurse practitioner and your file will be accessible to all doctors within the NHS who look after you (specialists, emergencies, tests..)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"BodyA\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">All consultations and additional tests are free. There is a fixed price of \u00a39.15 for each medicine prescribed. It is free and will give you free access to the NHS. You can obtain it by creating an account on <span class=\"Hyperlink0\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ameli.fr\"><span style=\"color: black;\">ameli.fr<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"BodyA\"><span class=\"None\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">If you need to see a doctor, you can go to a <b><i>walk-in centre <\/i><\/b>for a general medical consultation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"BodyA\"><span class=\"None\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">It is important that you do bring your EHIC card with you or you might have to pay \u00a360-\u00a375 for the consultation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"BodyA\"><span class=\"None\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\">You can also see a private doctor at your convenience;
